PUZZLING
************

Is the destination worth the trip?
Will all the pieces finally fit?
Round and round and round again.
When will this journey ever end.

The dark the light, which one is right?
The day the night, keep up the fight.
Inside my head, it has no end.
And so I travel round again.

You hold me close, you soothe my fears,
you gently wipe away my tears,
Then your gone, the shadows creep.
Escaping finally, I fall asleep.

In my land of jaded dreams,
nothing is, just what it seems.
The road ahead a twisted bit,
the puzzle pieces don't quite fit.

Everything slightly askew,
but the twisted road leads back to you.
Will our pieces come together?
Or slip away, touching never.

If I reach out, you pull away,
but if I run, you make me stay.
Round and round and round we go,
where will it end, how will we know?
