Two Moons
*********

Two moons lost and alone in the dark.
Nothing to orbit no, compass nor mark.
Wand'ring aimless they plod through harsh space,
Seeking some star, some singular place,
To be held and caressed in gravity's lock.
To no longer be just cold frozen rock.
These two lonely moons by themselves in the night.
Like two halves of one soul, what a sorrowful plight.
Perhaps they will meet through the passing of time,
Those two lonely moons with no reason or rhyme,
May collide in the darkness of infinite space,
Touch off a small spark, create a new place.
Those two halves of one soul united as one.
In the heavenly void there would be a new sun.
